InJoy Thrift Store is a project of ITG (Injoy Thrift Goldsboro Inc.). ITG is a not-for-profit ministry supporting local and international Christian charities. Once the store is generating excess income over expenses, the board will make quarterly grants to charities approved through a grant application process. ITG’s local Board of Directors will screen and select local charities to receive support. Board will encourage application for grants from local charities such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Boys and Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, and more.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Wayne County is a community-based, non-profit organization that provides young people with a fun, safe and constructive environment. Clubs offer year round programs and services to build character and strengthen life skills. We reach out to children, especially those in need, giving them support, guidance and hope for the future. Our Mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
The Greater Neuse Fellowship of Christian Athletes exists to serve Coaches and Athletes and those they influence for Jesus Christ. We work with middle schools, high schools, and colleges; athletes and non-athletes; churches, and communities.
D.O.O.R. (Deaf Opportunity OutReach) International. There are an estimated 70 million Deaf people worldwide, and less than 2% of them know Christ. DOOR International’s mission is to bring God’s Word and reproducing Christian fellowships to the Deaf of the world.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Truck driver and assistants
- Dropbox monitoring and maintaining
- Incoming donations sort
- Process, price and stock merchandise
- Maintaining and assisting customers on the sales floor
- Volunteer calling and scheduling
